Founded in 1924, the Krewe of Carrollton is Mardi Gras' third-oldest parading krewe. The Knights of King Arthur features floats for Queen Guinevere, Merlin the Magician the Castle of Camelot. Mardi Gras spectators recognize this Jefferson Parish based Krewe for their bright, beautiful floats designed by Blaine Kern Artists, multiple bands and marching groups and generous throws. For all of the Mardi Gras parades, you'll have a commanding comfortable view from our grandstand seating in the 500 block of St. Charles Avenue. Equipped with restroom and within easy access to downtown parking and to a large selection of food and beverages, the Royal Grandstand is available for all Orleans parades, from February 22, 2019 thru Mardi Gras Day.
